Nainital Trip with office team...

Day 1- 2nd July 2010

It was a preplanned trip, we decided to go to Nainital, it was the very first time when we
went out of city with my team. Every one were so excited, we planned our tour some 4-5 days back. We hired small bus, and we were total 15 person in our group.

We enjoyed like any thing, every one were ready with their Jugad :-) , till 2 am we did not sleep.

By 2 pm we got stuck in traffic jam, some one informed, because of some accident traffic on road is not moving, which was actually not the case, that jam occurred only due to bad traffic sense, every one were trying to go using wrong side which resulted road block, which adversely affected our journey time by 3 hours, there were no sign of traffic police even truck drivers on road were sleeping in their driver cabin just at middle of the road, as if some miracle will happen and traffic will start moving.

At last Ajeet, Varun and driver of our bus along with some other people took initiative and helped in clearing jam.

By 4:30 am only we were able to cross that 1 km stretch.
Just around 50 km prior to Nainital, we realised that our bus has some problem, which
reduced bus speed, and we some how reached Corbett fall, where our driver declared
that he would not be able to go to Nainital , instead he will arrange some alternate vehicle.

It was really a bad new for us, but when when we reached near fall, we forgot every thing

it was really an unforgettable moment for me, it was the very first time, when I experienced live water fall, it was really awesome.

In next five minutes only every one get down wearing chaddies only..:-)

After 1 Hr only we went out, took some snacks & tea, and left for Nainital, after few Kilometers
Bus driver dropped us and we took 2 Cabs for Nainital.
On the way we stopped at few places, took photographs, and enjoyed the ultimate natural beauty.

Beautiful Khurpa Lake..on the way to Nainital.

By 3 pm only we reached Nainital..and it took almost 2 hours to finalise hotel (this is how we planned our trip almost 5 days back), where we were going to stay at night.

At night as any one assume, every one boozed, in nut shell we have had lots of fun.

Day 2- 3rd July 2010

Next day we got up early, but of no use ,due to heavy rain out side we could not go any where till 10 am, but at hotel's balcony we conducted photo session.

By 10;30 we left hotel, after having breakfast we hired two taxies and visited all famous 6 points
at Nainital( Zoo, hill View, water fall....)

Siberian tiger at nainital zoo...

Finally by 8 Pm we left for Delhi, on the way we
stopped for dinner, by 5:30 am next day I was at home.

A journey to Jharkhand 11th April to 20th April

Just few days ago I went to Jharkhand, a beautiful state, but probably the time was wrong , when we reached Bokaro, outside temperature was 45 degree , but we managed to get taxi and reached home safely, I was little worried as I went there with my wife and 11 months old son.

However we were on leave for 9 days, but in 9 days we managed to visit our few relatives at Jamshedpur and Bokaro.

Rajrappa

Rajrappa is really a nice natural place, It's about 70 Km away from Bokaro, best time to leave from Bokaro for Rajrappa is 5:30 am, so one can reach there by 6;30 am. It's a beautiful place where any one would like to go, I enjoyed the journey from Bokaro to Rajrappa, I went there with one of my friend Kishore.

For others the reason for visiting that place was mainly influenced with religious sentiments, but I was only keen to go there because , I like to explore places, specially natural places. as I was not very keen to perform any pooja, but I bought prasad and given to my friend to let him perform Prayer.

I wanted to take bath there but I could not manage to do so, one reason at back unconsciousness could be, I was not very impressed with cleanliness of floating river water, yes water was flowing but was not so clean everywhere.

But I liked that place , It was worthful to go there , I took several photographs also, few of them are pasted here.

One thing I disliked was sacrifice of goats , it was really horrible, small baby goats were sacrificed like they are just some kind of vegetables.
I remembered one thing when I went to 'Madras crocodile Bank', where one quote was printed over  one box " to see the most dangerous animal in this world, please open the door" and inside the door there was one mirror...it was very correctly said we are the most dangerous animal, and we can do any thing very easily, we can sacrifice small helpless animal, in the name of religion.

Any way while returning back we stopped at few places and clicked some pictures, over all it was a memorable journey.
